The vehicle for the 2013 season

eLi12+ is the modified successor or eLi12.

The Shell Eco-marathon 2013 was the only competition we started in with the eLi12+. Thanks to the addition of solar panels, we managed a further improvement in efficiency, resulting in second place with a range of 957.75 kilometres per kWh or ca. 8580 km/l. This fuel economy was achieved through the integration of solar cells. Especially the wiring of the solar cells into two seperate modules with an MPPT each results in maximum efficiency of the panel even with non-optimal orientation towards the sun.
