Position: Driving Strategy Simulation
Project: MUC023+ (France 2024) & LUX025 (Australia 2025)

Description:
The TUfast ECO team is looking for a dedicated student who is passionate about racing simulation for the “muc023+” and “lux025” projects. In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team of students focused on designing and building an energy efficient and solar powered vehicle for the World Solar Challenge in Australia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement driving strategy simulations for various vehicle types and applications.
- Use simulation software and tools to analyze and optimize vehicle performance, energy consumption, and other key factors.
- Collaborate with members of other sub-teams (e.g., electrical or running-gear) to verify simulation results.
- Conduct tests and experiments to validate simulation results on a real vehicle.
- Continuously update and improve simulation models and algorithms.
Advantageous knowledge, not mandatory as we are all students:
- Student from engineering, computer science or related field.
- Software skills such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python or similar.
- Good communication skills in English, especially in stressful situations
